Hello. I'm looking for an eagle 5000 base station it very very similar to the ranger rci2995dx so if anyone has one or knows of one for sale please let me know. I own one now and would like to buy another I've been looking everyday on ebay for like 10 months now and nothing except to eagle 2000. Thanks in advance fir any help. 734-777-1760

Those two radios were the same as the RCI2990. All of them are "pre-DX" radios from before Y2K. That's more or less when RCI ditched the old through-hole circuit boards and went full surface mount for the 2950/70/95 models.

10-4 I appreciate the information. I've owned mine now for 2 years and made it a gold edition by adding all gold knobs and a gold edition decal and my night k eagle D104 gave it a great touch. I wanna buy another one and do the same to it. Here are some pics of it and some of my shack but it changes all the time as I'm buying different equipment constantly and switching things out. 73's

Thank you and yes in my basement. I know a lot of people with way more then me lol. This is a very addictive hobby.
I've a few myself, only about 7 of them on my cluttered and not very well organized desk. Would be nice to have a basement to keep it all cool...would also be nice to be as organized as you as well, but I've never been that way unfortunately.
