nice looking bubble wrap,..... is the XForce bubble wrap better than the TNT wrap?

Go back to your hammie corner where your own people like you so much for your smart comments !

Ham vs. CB'er, Ham vs. Ham, CB'er vs. CB'er, its all the same, all over the 'net. Somene is always going to want to pick on what another is doing. (ok, I've seen Ham vs. Ham get particularly nasty. ;) )

Do what you like, and don't give an F what someone else says, isn't worth the energy!

I have figured....figured you're not actually that knowledgeable and run dummy loads as antennas.

The rest of us have figured a few things out about you too Connor. Just why is it that you almost never post in the ham sections of the forum and pretty much confine yourself to the CB section mostly just bashing amp users and extolling the virtues of the lowly Moxon antenna? I cannot understand your fasination with the Moxon other than it was designe by a fellow brit. It is a shortened compromised two element antenna. The ONLY thing it has really going in it's favour is that it works fairly well and fits on a postage stamp sized lot which i understand is pretty common on your side. those of us with decent sized lots prefer to have BIGGER and BETTER antennas.

All that to be not even 2 S points louder than someone running 100W and if you're using a vertical being almost the same as someone running 100W into a Moxon beam.

Can never understand the point of these big amps. The work required to install and run them and the problems caused far outweigh the benefits.

Speaking of being knowledgeable....the 1500HD has eight 2879's in it and even if run light and the way any amateur amp with a similar compliment it will produce about 1000 watts which is a little MORE that 3 S-units over and not the less than 2 S-units you stated. If you were referring to the 600HD it will still do a little over 2 S-units more than 100 watts. I don't care for those 11m amps myself either but at least I let others live and let live as long as they don't interfere with my comms.

I am a hammie myself but this guy always makes such comments that makes him very popular in his own country and comes here to give us all his crap and negative opinions

" If you take a wander over to the World Wide Radio Forum and search in and around this thread HERE, you will gleam some info on how to do your switching of both the wire and the Jumper!

You will also see Jazzsinger rippin the absolute pish out of Conner M0GVZ, if i were you i'd go just for that!

Have fun.

Get my drift ?

I imagine his first amplifier caused goosebumps and a slight rigidity while firing it up.

I went rigid when I fired up my first amp. It was home brew and had an issue with the power supply. -185 volts on the chassis will make your whole body go stiff especially while in your bare feet on the cement basement floor. True story but my guess is you had a different kind of rigidity in mind. :D
