I have a friend Im trying to help out.

He need these xtals I think for a Yaseu radio
40.9875mhz
41.4875mhz

Looked every where and nothing

Is there anything else that could be used in place of the xtals?

It's too bad that AF4K (out of Florida) is going out of business. He is at the point of selling his inventory to someone else to keep the business going. Another old-time-ham selling his business.

I needed a crystal, four years back, that he didn't list on his website. I sent him an email, his response was "I do have that crystal in stock". He gave me price options for whichever way I wanted to pay in the same email. Placed my order and payment the same day I sent my first email. Received the crystal a few days later. Going to miss Brian knowing I can't rely on him for crystals.

You may have to wait until the new business opens to find out if they have what you need if you can't find your crystals elsewhere.

Read the message on his website, hopefully, it will reopen under new management soon and of course with higher prices.....

It was a travesty when International Crystal Manufacturing (ICM) of Oklahoma City announced in early 2017 that they were closing their doors after 66 years in business. Excellent crystals, great customer service and if they didn't have it, they would cut you one.

Back in the day Jan xtals- Tennessee xtals and Bomar I bought thousands.
Now only Bomar is still making xtals but crazy price $50.00 for 1 xtal an minimum of $100.00 order I tried again to order 2000 xtals 4 different freqs. and would cost.
$10000.00.
Just got this back the other day, they know they have you buy the balls.
Pricefor qty of 2 to 5 xtals with different Frequencies is $50.00 each.
Price for qty of 10 and more xtals with different Frequencies is $40.00 each.
Price for qty of 10 and more xtals with same Frequency is $30.00 each.
Price for qty of 50 and more xtals with same Frequency is $20.00 each.

Crazy cant get much business with these prices and 1o weeks to make from Bomar
