Not a bad radio, just depends on price. I have no idea what

they go for on the used market, but new, comparable radios

are going for around $500 +/-, and there not 10-20 years old.

I've seen the GX going for as little as $300. The GXII is the one that I have seen going for around $500. The GXII is the one that I would look for if that's what you want.

But that's just my opinion.

Whoa... I may not have made the right comparison, there

isn't any '757 around worth $500, and $300 would be kinda

high for a very clean one!

Ed, Doc, Fester, thanks for the info. They wanted more than I wanted to give, 450. HRO has a new Icom that has more features for 599. So I'm gonna pass on the old one.

Doc, I didn't know they were that old, thanks.

Jerry,

The FT-757 is a good radio! I'm sure not saying it isn't. It

just may not be the best 'deal' around because the 'seller'

always thinks it's worth more than it really is.
