Well, don't have any photos, but, here's the current mobile setup:
In my 1997 Dodge 2500 pickup, an ICOM-706 MKIIG with a Tarheel 100a HP.
Works great.
In the 2007 Kenworth diesel rig (day cab) that I drive. I have the following:
For CB fun, a Stryker 497 (guy at work needed money, got it pretty cheap)
For HF Amateur use, a Kenwood TS-480SAT and a Little Tarheel II mounted
on the driver's side mirror. Works pretty darn good. Especially using the small
Tarheel. It is not as good as the 100a HP, but, 20-6 meters it is just fine. On
40 meters, it tunes fine, but, signal strength is not that good. And if I put the
56" whip on it, it will tune down to 80/75 meters. Of course, someone needs
to be across the street to hear me on 80 meters!!!

D700 under the radio in cubby and a FTM-350 on custom bracket. Both dual band radios. Siren and light controller next to shifter.

I'll see if I can take a couple of photos. My cell phone
takes some fair pictures. I get lots of comments from
other truckers about the Little Tarheel. They all think it
must be a great CB antenna. Until I tell them how much
it costs!!
The first one I had, I bought at a hamfest with some other
things for $300, including a Turbo Tuner for an ICOM 7000.
That one got KO'd by a dump truck doing haul off in a construction
site. He had a bunch of concrete with rebar hanging over the sides
of his truck and he swung out into the two lane road(narrow because
of the work they were doing) and one of the rebar rods swung up
and hit the Little Tarheel II right above the motor on the main mast.
Looked like someone had shot it with a 30/30! Scared the you-know-
what out of me!! His company ended up buying me a brand new
Little Tarheel II. His boss thought I was trying to gouge him on the price.
So, I gave him the number to Tarheel Antennas and he called and ordered
it himself. He found out that it was much more than an CB antenna and
that I was not lying about the price.
Good enough antenna, but, no where as good as it's bigger brothers.

I would post my mobile radio, but I figured no one would want to see my old kenwood th-79a that is taped together. HI HI I have 2 mobile units here in the shack but I use them for base units. Why do I need 2 mobile units for base units? No idea.

These are what I have in my old Suburban; a Uniden Bearcat PC68XL into a K40 4' Fiberglass antenna mounted on the R/F fender at the edge of the hood and a Yaesu FT8000R 2m/70cm into a Tucker Twin Band magnetic mount antenna stuck on the roof. The console box that contains them is a homemade box. I designed it so the radios are level with my eye to prevent glare and so that I can easily slide each radio out as needed. It is made of wood and just covered with some vinyl that is close to the same color as the interior. The external speakers really help me to hear the radios in a noisy mobile environment. The entire package is pretty much self-contained except for antennas and the power supply. For protection I keep a gray towel draped over them when not in use to keep thieving prying eyes from lusting for a pawn shop loan.
