NC shed setup. ??

Mine is NCShedDepot.

10x12 (A frame type) with 8' sidewall height, LP 50 year smart panel siding, 16" o/c wall studs, 4x6 runners, opted for 2x6 floor joists over the standard 2x4 (also 16" o/c), opted for 6" gable end overhang, 3' standard residential door, flat under the 25 year shingles, optional drip edge to help too, and it has 5/8" ProStrut flooring. Also has end vents up top. Also have required ground anchors per NC code. Delivery is $150. Total is $3970 and then tax.

My last shed (converted to cabin in Texas was only 12x24) was aTuffShed with barn type roof and skylights. They were a bad idea as the sun would cook the interior. Granted that she's was $6500 delivered. All the locals and myself called it a shack since it was only 6 miles from the Rio Grande on a washboard dirt road.

No end gable overhang made sideways rain fun until I put a storm door on. I didn't like the high barn roof as the fast winds dining stony nights would freak me out to the point I'd have to drive to town and sleep in the gun shop. Also that had a 7' wall height which made drywall a pita having to cut every piece.

Texas to NY, to NC. First move is shameful, but the last one is half way back. Complete opposite of those NC Halfbacks. That's dem NY'rs moving to Florida and can't handle the heat, so they move halfway back.

I didn't like the high barn roof as the fast winds dining stony nights would freak me out to the point I'd have to drive to town and sleep in the gun shop.

That close to the Rio would make anyone want sleep in a gun shop.

I'm actually a PA native and NJ 26 year resident. Texas was my midlife crisis at 43. LoL. Then back to PA for 4. Then NY for 9 months after divorce. Then back in NJ for next few years or maybe just 1. Then NC.

A few relatives born in GA. So I seem to gravitate that way.

.308 is great, love my model 70 mountain rifle. Tapered Pencil barrel. Light for pack'n while stalkin zombies. Kicks like a mule for those who have never shot one. But there is a finesse required to absorb or reduce that recoil. Damn Ralph, show some pics!
