Something like that would only be worth taking a risk on for $100.00....
I agree its a so called beginners radio but it does have six meters so its a little more versatile. I personally would not buy without testing.I agree because, thats the kind of radio that was basically a beginners radio roughly 30 years ago. Thats the kind of radio that would sell at a hamfest or local club or something, for $300.00 dollars or less, in good working condition. Maybe a little bit more if it had the matching power supply and a desk mic.

Another major solar flare, but this time from an active region just beginning to turn into view off the east limb. It is possible that the group responsible is old AR 3654 from the previous rotation. The latest flare, an X2.99 event just peaked at 14:38 UTC (May 15). Stay tuned |
