I have tried and I cannot reteach myself the math. Hopefully, someone on here can. If you have two aluminum tubes. Each one is 38 inches long. If you connect the end of each one to the other and separate them at the other end by 120 degrees, what is the distance in inches between the ends of the...
I have looked through the manual but it doesn't give enough data to be able to ascertain the distance between the three radials. The reason I need that is I am using that as a base figure for a beam that I am designing and building.
I know this is a very old discussion but I'm hoping Sonoma is still on here. I have search the web for alignment procedures for the Midland 79 dash 290 and cannot find it anywhere. Sonoma, I hope you're still there buddy. I need your help.
Must be. That's the same number I came up with from RF parts. The schematic shows a different ic chip with more pins. But the 2003 L is the one. The one in the radio is labeled 2004 no numbers no letters before or after that.
I am trying to figure out what the part number is for IC 8 in a galaxy 959 or a galaxy 979, or a connex Saturn CX - 33. These have five pens/legs going to the board. However, all schematic show a ten pin, different device. I need to know what this is so I can order some more. Anyone have an idea?

Other operators and myself included have done swap out comparisons with the Wilson 1000 and the Serio turbo 5000 PL out performs the Wilson both in receive and transmit. And it screwed right onto my original Wilson magnetic mount. And yes, it stays put.
Once you do the am swing modification and the voltage regulator modification it brings audio out of these radios like you cannot possibly imagine.
I use these particular echo boards because they have a gain control on them. I use them more for the amplification than I do the echo sound. However...
My galaxy DX 959 took a crap on me so I had to make a decision. Did I want to buy a nother 959 or get something different. I chose a galaxy DX 979 F. It is the same radio as the DX 959, except in a smaller package. I did the swing mod. I did the voltage regulator mod. This radio performs...
Thank You Sonoma for the reply. I traced it down to the display board. I have RF Parts as an icon on my phone and use them quite often. I have not called them yet.
