I have two radios to hook uo to one antenna, my question is how long of jumpers should i use? I am going from both radios to a switcher then to the amp then to a meter and then the antenna. Right now my swr is 1.2 with what i am using, but goes way up when I turn the amp on, what gives...

Are D&A tube amps good? I have aquired a D&A T600 amp, it uses 2 plus 8 or so 6JE6C tubes. I am not sure if is good yet becouse I have not aquired my lic yet. Will it work on 11 meters? I am not even sure how much watts it puts out? Thanks Jerry

I aquired a RCI 6900f-150, can any body tell me what freq's I should not go on? this radio goes up to from standard 40 channels to 29.????. I do not want to get anyone P'Od. Just tring to learn as much as possible and have fun after all it is a Hobby!! :D Thanks Jerry

What is the mast diameter for a Imax 2000 and what is the best height to run it at? I am on flat ground with few obstructions, I have access to all the steel pipe I want, 1" thru 6". I plan to make a tripod stand on the ground and then go up from there. It will be right up against the back wall...

Just picked up a used President Washington Base station, it has extra channels and is SSB too. Are these good radios? I am going to take it to the local CB shop to have them look it over. Any opinions Thanks

I my last post I noted that I have a Voyage 9000 ( I have been told it is made by Ranger) and a Galaxy 959. Both are Am/SSB with all the same features. What radio do you think is the best in Quality? Thanks Jerry
