Voyage or Galaxy?

I my last post I noted that I have a Voyage 9000 ( I have been told it is made by Ranger) and a Galaxy 959.

Both are Am/SSB with all the same features.

What radio do you think is the best in Quality?

I wouldn't think there would be that much difference between the two, quality-wise. Obviously, the Voyage has access to a great many more frequencies than the Galaxy, and you are correct that they are both made by Ranger. The Galaxy might have a little tighter front end on the RX side, so it might do a better job when the band is wide open and busy with tons of stations and noise.

I always thought that they were made by the same company.

Maybe I am wrong.

vorage 9000 vs galaxy 959

i thought that the voyage didnt have a mic gain control so how do you get the audio out
