102" ss whip. is it still the best

There is an advantage to a long shaft short whip predator type antenna over a stainless steel 1/4wave whip,
they ride much stiffer & provide more stable signals on the move,
you guys won't notice because you don't use FM.

I use a 108” whip on 11 meters (not a 102” whip with a 6” spring,) I have found that the 108” whip noticeably out performs a 102” whip with a spring. I have attached a pic of my 108” whip. The 108” whip isn’t known to the masses. Most operators go with a 102” whip with a spring as many aren’t aware that you can get a 108” whip.

Electrically they are the same thing.
How did you figure that?
