In this video we take a quick look at some vintage ham radios and test gear a friend gave to me today. This is what we have:
Kenwood TS-520 hybrid HF rig
Heathkit DX-20 CW transmitter
Eico model 215 signal generator
Heathkit HP-23 power supply
HP model 410A Volt OHM meter

I will used these in future repair and restore videos

Is it possible to get 1-50uV out of that generator; or hold freq stability?

Good question Robb. We will find out when I tear into it.
Here are the specs:

Eico 315 RF generator

Provides a tunable RF output between 75kHz and 150MHz with 1% accuracy.

Utilizes a 6-position range switch and a variable frequency vernier.

Audio output of 400Hz is provided.

RF output level is selectable via a 4-position multiplier switch with
a continuously adjustable attenuator (pot).

Tubes: 7F7, 6C4, VR150, 6X5

Cabinet Size: (HWD) 13" X 12" X 7"

Weight: 20 lbs

$39.95 (1962)

Nice score. The Kenwood TS-520 boat anchor is definitely worth restoring (y)
