Anytone 5555 mic board or diagram parts list where to find?
I've noticed that brought up a few times with anytone radios. I've heard of it more than a few times happening to the quad 6, a microphone burning up a ground trace. Why does that sort of thing happen?
I am wondering if it is from pin #4 and people not unhooking pin four on a standard four pin mic? (Power mic, etc) I am looking into seeing if I can unhook pin 4 inside of the radio, then I may not need to modify mics to work well with the radio. Once tuned correctly, these radios work quite well as far as power output! Receive is excellent on the unit I use and the rejection for bleedover seems to exceed the performance of my 2000GTL with Franklin’s Channel Guard installed. They work well enough for me I picked up a couple for a rainy day so to speak.
The thing is supposed to be left open - Pin 4 is the "Tri-State" logic of the Up-Dn-Sq function.
So, leave it open! Pin 4 on STANDARD mic is left open.
Tie Pin 1(GND) and Audio (Pin 2) IT'S SHIELD - also to Pin 1 - Pin 2 wrap in shield wire is the AUDIO to Pin 2 and To Mic Element Live, + or MIC + - with Element Return TIED TO SHIELD WHICH TIES TO PIN1
4-pin Plug side (To Handset - the cord side - the one that plugs into the Radio)
Pin 1 Ground - and Shield
Pin 2 Audio
Pin 3 TX
Pin 4 - NC
