Due to a local power outage, ARRL*Headquarters is closed. We will reopen at 8 AM*(EST)*on Monday, February 28.

wtf? a bunch of hams can't cobble something together with a coat hanger and a bicycle to get power back going?

I'm disappointed.

Here's a bunch of people who could show everyone how it's done in an emergency situation.

Time to start an alternative organization. This one is top heavy.

Exactly. If they choose to preach the value of ham radio in an emergency well it sure doesn't look good when they take the day off because the power is out.
 
The people who are in charge of the ARRL probably don't even own radios. :D

A a general rule bureaucracy is bureaucracy no matter where or who it is.

You know "Do as We say, not as we do".:unsure:
