For awhile it seemed you couldnt throw a dog without hitting a President Grant LT on ebay! everybody was selling new ones



Now I cant find one that isnt hacked and cracked



All I want is a NEW Grant LT with no extra channels no "PEAK AND TUNE" no talk back echo or roger beep just the stock radio with stock mic that is on frequency. Do they still have them ??

Some people like to go with the flow and not make waves. If they send their radio to someone that is tied in some way with the forums they are members of and when they get it back its either not any better or worse than when they sent it to the tech, they are scared to open thier mouth about it for fear of getting jumped on by other forum members so they just post that they are happy with it and never give you the lowdown on what their radio really does. I myself bought a Techs Choice tuned radio and was not impressed with it but since I bought it used I could not post that the radio was not what I expected. To me it didnt produce any more wattage or modulation than a stock radio. Nice radio but still was stock.

Input postitive or negative should be accepted by the members and the techs and any one that is thinking of purchasing a radio or wanting to have thier radios done in the future would be able to make their own choice without abuse or having a certain shops name rammed in their face.

its amazing that they charge 50 dollors to do that simple little mod and it really does sound like crap, where 50 dollors spent somewhere else and you get a butt kicking audio monster of a radio one stop tune is nothing more than a cheap npc mod all a bunch of bull, whole forum is a bunch of bull you get banned for telling the truth or setting the record straight what a bunch of crap plan and simple fact is that all of one stops secrets are no longer secrets all their great techs are proven no longer great but just common tune up artist who dont know the first thing about tuning a radio so all of the people who think frank is a god and one stop is the bomb i hate to tell ya, they arnt the truth hurts and hurts bad!!!!

If you're talking about aligning the radio, then yes, that's true. However, doing custom mods like getting 50 watts out of a Cobra 29 takes quite a bit more time than a basic align and tune. I don't have a problem paying extra for stuff like that. But $20 more for a quick diode/resistor add-on that takes 2 minutes? No way, Jose.



You know what, I think I'm going to do a quick diode/resistor mod on one of my radios and then put it on a scope and take some pics so everyone can see what that looks like.....
