LOL our wives could hang out together!

Wish I'd have thought about 6 meters. Local guys tell me it has been good lately (I don't have the capability in my rigs). Nice and small antennas, too!

Well,
I moved from Ontario to Alberta last winter for numerous reasons, one was camping. No camper here, just a tent for now. But with my very small backyard, it's radios with me camping. I have a YP-3 yagi so far to 10/15/20 and a dipole for 40/80 along with a TS 480HX. Eventually I will be getting a KX3 and a buddipole. I'm not totally sold on the buddipole low band coils, they may work but just doesn't seem right to me.

Is it possible to be on a lake and have a homing directional beam being emitted from the shore so a person could navigate to that beam's source? For example at night to a jetty.
