I'm wondering what the conventional wisdom is on newer transistor radios and amps and tube amps. With propagation being so dependent on the ionosphere and that being such a flip-flopper, Leave them on all day, or turn them off when it doesn't look promising? What do you do?
I have been turning the 2985dx off when the day is not picking up by 9 or 10am, and the transistor amp only when it is busy.
