I have a ftm-350 with the local repeater freq set on the right side and the aprs freq set on the left side ans at times I am being told the the aprs is interferring with the repeater freq. I have checked all the setting on the radio and do not know why it is doing this. please help.

Try this:
Under the APRS/Packet Menu, find the setting called DATA BAND SELECT. Set the APRS setting to L-BAND FIX. I think that should solve it. I'm guessing you have that setting on something else like SUB BAND, or one of the other settings that can make it TX APRS on your voice frequency.
