FYI - Very cool stand to hold equipment

I was actually looking at that one a few days ago, but wanted something so that i could add some fans for cooling.
This stand is very sturdy. I'm not sure of what it's made of, but I don't think cutting to allow for fans and a way to get some air flow through the stand itself would weaken it.
It's exsteamly sturdy. And they look better in person than the pictures show. Either way good luck. 73

That ebay stand actually looks a lot like the modified wood shelf I used forever before I switched to the Metal stands.

Yeah - I think I mentioned this in the other thread - I got a 12vdc fan on ebay about 4 or 5 square inch then just ran screws/washers through the holes. I couldn't get all 4 holes to line up exactly so it wasn't perfectly straight but it only needed 2 screws to hold it in place. I'm not using the mobile amp anymore that the fan was cooling so I removed but it worked fine.

Any chance of a pic or two? please

I don't have the fan attached anymore but here are some pics showing a screw going through - the holes a small so you have to use a small screw with a washer/nut underneath to hold the fan on. I guess I could have easily just drilled out the hole and used a larger screw :) There are a ton of small holes so you can easily get the fan holes to line up pretty close but it may not be like 100% straight but pretty dang close.
