I noticed it says technician under my name. How can i get it changed to General?

Yeah I know, but I aways thought it was a poor choice of words.

I noticed it when the forum up-graded and thought it was strange. There could be a ham of 60 years on here with a low post count labled a tech.

Don't anyone get the wrong idea, I don't have a ego that would be bothered by it, just my 2 cents.

I have been waiting for someone to bring this up.

Currently I have the ranking set as follows

NEWBIE = 1-9
TECHNICIAN = 10-99
GENERAL = 100-499
EXTRA = 500 - 999
ADVANCED 1000 +

I can switch it to any title

Make your suggestions and we can try it out.

My original ones didnt go over well

What if we HAM Ops send you there callsigns to be verified by you and set rankings accordingly. As far as regular unlicensed members, maybe CB related rankings like mudduck ect...
 
I need to slow down my post, because if I go to 1000 and up, I will be knocked down to advanced :)

Not anymore, I deleted those so its all stars until we find better rank titles
