Hello every one. Just put this counter on my radio. But it seems to be getting stray RF from somewhere. When I TX counter goes wacky all over freq. Recieve is fine. I usually shut it off once i find out where I am, but id like to know if anybody else ran into this problem? or if there is a fix.. thanks! (y)
 

does it pick it up when you key up?

what coax are you running?

my guess is you might want to try moving it around a little... I think you will find that it will lessen or remove the interference...

also try to keep it away from you coax as much as possible...

another thing would be to sleeve it... one way I have done this was to take some coax and pull the braid out of it, then pull the braid over the coax part connecting to the counter...

basically the coax being used for this is not very well shielded
