I'm new to SWL and I'm looking at the Grundig G3 as a starter radio. Does the G3 receive the utility bands? What can I expect to hear on the radio? I'm very interested in short wave and would appreciate any help that I can get.

You can Google up the manual and find all the specifications on that (and almost any other) radio. I've never used a Grundig, but it's an old, respected name in the field.
