Grundig S350DL Question

Droogies,
I got a Grundig S350DL recently. It is my first SW, so I have a ton of rookie questions.
I noticed that a number of broadcasts appear at two different frequencies. The first is where it should be, the second is 910 kHz lower. So I might hear a time signal on 15000 kHz--where it should be--and 14090 kHz--where it should not be.
A book I've been reading says, "A receiver with poor image rejection will repeat signals at a frequency separation of twice the i-f from their real location." Then it mentions something about signals appearing 910 kHz below the real signal.
What does this mean? Can someone dumb this down for me? And is it a problem with all S350DLs, or just mine? And can this problem be fixed or do I just have to live with it?

Thanks
