how best ... Baofeng UV-3 or UV-5 ???

hlep...what i buy ???

some ham say that is very best UV-3 , (but have in 2012 !!! some problem , like low modulation, spurios in 144 mhz ... etc .... now in the 2014 baofeng
FIX it or not today this bug ????)


nad some HAM say that the UV-5 is not very good and the rx not very sensible. its true or ?

I think the newer releases are fine. The UV-82L is a very nice unit as well.

Just pick one with a recent manufacture date and you should be fine.

I would by the UV-5.

they're both the same as what's better. The only thing distinguishing them from each other is the features. so I would put more research into what features you like

I've had very good luck with both the UV-5R and UV-82. Nice little HT's for the money. UV-82 fits my hand better, but then again, I like the compactness of the UV-5R. UV-82 gets better reports on my audio (not as "tinny", and more full bodied). Really can't tell any difference in the receive.

2) if is not expanded (mod) in how mode i expande ? ONLY via cable to pc, or there si a keyborad combination or ?

3) there is a secret menu ?

4) is possible to have back screen lcd and blut dot numbers ?

5) in how mode i put a "alfanumerics carachter" in the memory ? is possible
via key on the rtx or ONLY via calbe to PC ?

2. Expand what? They xmit from 135-174/400-470mhz
3. No

5. Yes you can do it via the KP but a PC is much easier.
