i have a cobra 89xlr but the the strip that goes to the channel selector came apart now it won't show channel where to find a replacement?

Another cobra 89, or 21,25,29, any of them should have the same strip I would think.
the strip is a flex print
Make sure you solder it in exactly as you removed it.

I have used computer ribbon cable to replace flex prints, worked great for me no issues.

I think someone needs to work on their soldering skills - whoever it was that wrecked to board. But as bad as it is it can either be fixed or replaced. Traces can be re-made by using thin copper wire. I've seen worse; but not much worse.

The underlined 'PC-206 (CH) is the name of the channel board.
The circle is the connections from the main board to the channel board.

Are there any shadows left of the original traces on the channel board?
That should give you a clue as to what goes where.

The channel board also shows 11 wire going to it.
Can you see that?
7 that go to the ch switch and 4 other wires to supply voltage to the channel LED.
You can see that on the schematic if you check it out.

If this is all over your head; then you might have to send it off.

I have the schematic but I still don't know. If I had a pic of the board with it connected like it suppose to be then I can see where the traces should go
