Worked an old friend from years ago, Slava on Kamchatka Peninsula.
We didn't talk long, for Slava doesn't know much English, but it is snowing there and cold, I got that much anyway.
11 m.

Very cool Larry!
I guess the word 'cold' is all one needs to know about Siberia.

I talked to England, Ireland, Japan, and Belgium in the last four days.
But that was 17m using the IMAX; it's too bad it wasn't on 11m!

A beam is a beautiful thang; next project . . .

Way cool,

He is still around, I worked him in the 90's 11 meters usb on the call freq, two days in a row if my memory does not fail me, just R-S reports and name.

It was a rush, must have been in the early 90.s sometime.

Thanks for the report and glad to know he is still around over there.
