For the last month a group of local guys have been hitting mountain tops in NE Ga, Western NC and Upstate SC, different location each week, and running a check-in roll call. Been having lots of fun with it and attracting upwards 100 check-ins and growing each week. Getting stations from as far SW as Atlanta and west to eastern Tennessee.

Looks like it's going to be every Saturday night at 10:30pm on channel 14 AM

They A-V record the event and post it on You Tube where you can view the proceedings and hear yourself check in and see your signal on their radio's meter.

Here's the you tube link. Cracker0974. Choose the Roll Call videos from list on the right.

If you are within contact range of this area give it a try or just listen in during the next several Saturday nights.

Feel free to take this idea and start one up in your area.

Last night saw 147 check-ins. Roll Call Control was on a mountain top in western NC. By a phone call (he couldn't get back of course) one of the locals who is traveling to his 2nd home in New Smyrna Beach Florida, heard him (RC Control.) Wow.

The weekly Roll Call has been bumped up to 9 PM eastern by popular request.

Been going strong for a couple of months now. Collecting 150-225 check ins every week.

Still usually comes from differing mountain tops in western NC. Covers all of western NC, NE Ga down to Atlanta, Upstate SC, eastern TN, and have had check ins from AL, WVA, VA.

Every Saturday night at 9PM eastern, Channel 14 AM
