New Firmware for Kenwood TM-D710

For anyone interested, there is new firmware available for the Kenwood TM-D710 transceiver.

I've done the control head up-date and it seems to do just fine. Tried downloading and installing the MC2a control program (new one) and the antivirus program stops it, seems to think it's a little 'wormy'. Still have the older version thank goodness!

Perhaps disable your anti virus program for a short time whilst disconnected from the internet.

Then install the new MCP-2A. Other wise, if you use the old MCP-2A you will not have the new features when editing the database of the D710 whilst the D710 is up to date.

In other words, your D710 will have the latest firmware but your MCP-2A does not match it because you are using the old MCP-2A.
