If that HR 2600 is Doc tuned you already own the best I also have the 2950dx, very nice radio. If your in the mood you could get the cobra 200 and give it a try.

well if your running striaght 4 pill or bigger the 2970dx if your running something with a built in criver or tube amp that requires low drive then the 2950dx.

like a rock on AM and SSB oh ya and FM aswell. 8)

so far looks like up top ranger is winning but some are voting for the 2950dx and some the 2970dx same damn radio except the 70dx has a 2 pill with 2-2290's

oh yes and has to be a DX.

I like my 2970DX has plenty of juice and great RX! Just my 2 cents.
