Looking at the Magnum 1, RCI 2950cd, and the President Lincoln II. Does anyone with a Magnum 1 know if the radio has memory channels? I cannot find it listed in the features section. Any thoughts on these three radio's?
Magnum 1 by RF Limited is not in production anymore, so if you want to purchase one, it will have to be a used radio, (prior owned by someone else).
I do not think it has memory channels. Here is a link to the owners manual.
I would go with a Magnum 1 if brand new ones were still available. And only because they are very stable on frequency .......
Other than that, my first choice is the Stryker SR-955HP.......
They talk very good, have pretty good receive, and have lots of barefoot power available.
Between the 3 you listed go with the 2950 or the Lincoln II. Lincoln II is DIN mount and has more features than the 2950cd.
Stryker 955 is a solid radio but a bit overpriced IMO and I never quite liked the tuning step function but otherwise it's a great talker. I'm a little annoyed at Stryker as recently they were spamming all over my videos in the comments and on forums posting up with fake users saying how great the 955 is. Guess they are trying to drum up business.
