Hi All,
I have a older super star 3900 made in Taiwan without the frequency counter plug in the back.
Fantastic condition.

I also have a General FC390 frequency counter I would like to wire to it.

I have looked around and most instructions are for different boards.

This board on the radio is a M-294HB-C

Does anyone have any instructions for this board??

Dave

follow the instructions for an ept3600 board, as the M-294HB-C is an ept3600 clone. if i recall the part numbers are the same on both radios.

Thanks for the information.

I found some instructions for fitting a fc347 to 3900.

I have the fc390 counter and the instructions I found weren't very clear.

Would you have any more info?

Regards,
Dave

i'm pretty certain the fc390 and fc 347 are the same counter, same as the superstar kfv1 we get here in europe, i believe all brands (all ranger built) have one of two different boards in them,ept210014c and ept210014d.

cb tricks has plenty info on both types: Galaxy Radios FC347 Service Manual
