Howdy
This Old cowboy would like to know if the Chirp software ( Free Ver. ) support the Yaesu FT 2900r rig. I see that they do the Older FT 2800M I'm not sure if this would work with Ft 2900R , maybe someone has messed with this in the past if not is there other free software that can be recommended Thanks for all your help boys..

I looked at the list of supported radios and don't see the FT-2900. However, I do see in the developer issue list that there are a few people asking about support for the radio, so support might not be too far off in the future.

The way Chirp works is you send him a radio and he will reverse engineer it to make it work.
