I have a question about a amplifier with a tube keying circuit. :headbang The relay got bad so I ordered new ones with the same specs. When I put them in, it keys up but won't unkey. I put the old relays back in and they still key and unkey perfect. I though maybe I was getting some kind of bleed so I put a RF choke in line with the power for the coil of the relay, and that didn't help. I tried tightening the spring on the relay and that didn't help. I'm out of ideas can any one help?
Or could someone post a scematic and parts list of a 12v transistor keying circuit I can put together and replace the old one.? Thanks!......Tim

The replacement relay should have similar coil resistance to the original or it won't behave. Coil voltage spec isn't the whole story.
