RCI-2995 Display problem

Fired up the radio today everything just fine...... after about 20 minutes the display shows "PA" and none of the buttons or the frequency dial work except for the dimmer button. When I transmit the display returns but then goes back to PA.
Any ideas what could be the problem??

Sounds like a CPU problem ;) Although I would try cleaning the mode selector rotary switch with contact cleaner first ;)
