Rtty with IC-7000

Hi, anyone know how to use the built in Rtty decoder in the IC-7000? I can turn on the RTTY and adjust the tuning to get it to start but I get non words and sentences on the radios screen. I read the manual but don`t seem to get it. I guess I am a little stupid or some thing.

Anyone with this radio that can help me?

I don't have that radio, but I've done plenty of digital modes with other radios. Make sure you have the Auto Notch filter turned off, and don't turn up the DSP NR very high.

Auto Notch is off, DSP NR not on. I have the lines in the waterfall. For some reason I can not see the pics Happy_Hamer. Maybe cause I am at work. they set the computers with real high security.

I will be able to check on my home computer tonight though.

Thanks, I hope I can get it to work. I am sure I just dont have some thing quite right.
