Since this thread started as "Ruger Wrangler" here is another Wrangler. Not a Ruger but a Winchester 94 Wrangler...44 magnum with a16" barrel. Williams receiver sight & Lyman "gold" bead front sight.

Might as well toss some more .44 magnums in the mix.

S&W 29-3 4" barrel

S&W 629-5 2.5" barrel fixed sights. Smith & Wesson only made 300 of these as a special order from Camfour Dist. Co. in year 2000.

S&W 29-2, 6.5" barrel, factory lettered two tone (nickel & blue) shipped in 1975. Also referred to as a pinto or half-plate.

My ‘94 will be 100 before long..and still taking deer. 30WCF.

Speaking of which...it’s also fun to take into gun shops looking for 30WCF ammo.

Nice looking Winchester Dan. I like the short magazine tube. (y) You'll alway find ammo for it as .30 WCF and .30-30 are the same. I'm pretty sure I have still have some old boxes of ammo labeled .30 WCF.

My oldest '94 is roll marked .30 WCF and was made in 1949

Not sure when this 94 AE .30-30 was made...never looked it up. It has a 24" barrel and a forearm older than the rest of the rifle.

This Win. 94 Legendary Frontiersman was made in 1979 and is chambered for .38-55.

It’s just a fun game to play on the local know-it-alls :)

I dig the 38-55. I like both it and the 375 Win, but have never owned one.

Here’s an oddball that’s not likely to make the front page...an old “Benajamin Franklin” 22 caliber air rifle. My uncle found this in a garbage dump in the ‘60s, and made all the missing parts...including swiping a pair of my Grandmother’s suede gloves for the seals. It still works...and still whacks the snot out of a rabbit.

He also brought home an Edison phonograph and restored it, which remains in the family.
