s9 problem

I think my station was hit by lightning. My s9 will only produce 1/4 watt dk and 1/2 watt of swing, and that is with the the top gun on. I have no audio on ssb, but I can transmit and the needle moves on recieve.

What do you think happened, and what is needed for repair?

I think your final transistor is toast, does that model use mosfets? they much more proned to static charge damages.

I'm not sure if it has mosfets, but that would explain the low output. Would the blown finals cause for the lack of audio on ssb?
