Yep. I've got one. I'm sure that they are a fine radio, but I bought mine used, and it was modified by someone who probably shouldn't be allowed to touch a $10 transistor radio kit from radio shack. So, it's never worked right as long as I've had it. Had I bought it new, I would have spent some extra cash and gotten the 955, just for the SSB option.
 
They are very nice radios, but they are complicated and have very tiny, surface mount devices and traces on the circuit board. The average snip-n-clip knob should NEVER be allowed to work on these radios...
