Hey man could you send pictures of how you shipped them? I’m a bit confused on where they need to be removed. I have the tool to desolder just don’t want to remove the wrong thing. I really want to get this radio in my truck asap. Thanks! You can email me as well if you want my emailRemove 297 and 299 worked on the one I just bought. I snipped them.

Wow that was fast thank you! Going to get on that this week. Is there anything else I need to do after that like programming or changing the band knob? Or just hook it up in my truck and get rolling. Thank you so much your a life saver.Use a pair of small cutters to cut them out, or you can de-solder. Picture below is from post #2.
