when i bought mine

it came with no box just the cardboard inserts.
it was all there. but it would have been nice to have the outer box.
for resale. it works ok. not super tuned.i had to peak and tune it myself.

yep it sure does(stinks)....claims NY doc tuned but ships out of Florida
Hmmmm I bought it second hand off a guy in my state (CA). so I'll just
wait for it to arrive and see what we got.....

received radio this morning...as advertised, excellent condition and yes
it came in the original box complete with everything, doing about 45 (pep)
SSB, don't know about AM and really don't care, don't do AM...10 meters is
non existent right now so talked to a local hammy here, to check the drift issues
of course. i let the radio warm up for 15 minutes, just a habit of mine.. anyway
he didn't notice any drifting, of course it could be a different story long distance.. but for the most part nice radio..... as far as the who's who
regarding doc. maybe someone on this forum can explain it.....73's

Just talked to Doc (KC2UJJ) in Buffalo NY for about and hour, very nice guy
he started laughing when I told him about docscbshopny in Florida, he said
it's not the first time he's seen or heard someone going by Doc, but he did let
me know that he works on the 2510,Lincoln, 2600 and a couple other related radios....I must say I really enjoyed talking to him...so who ever you are doc
in Florida, you need to drop the NY and put FL...73;s Rick

at least you got the box.he told me he could not send the box.
after i bought it. i should have sent it back. read his neg. feedback
another guy bought a new radio and refuses to ship the box.

well maybe not so lucky, the guy I bought it off.. cut about 2" off the box
so it would fit into a large flat rate priority box... so I got most of it...LOL
 
I wouldn't tolerate that shit at all. Your resale value just took a hit. He'd get neg feedback from me.

Did the listing state you'd get a butchered box?

Pox that dudes way.

I just read that listing. No mention of a butchered box... Plus, he hints that it's from Doc... I'd file a paypal claim.

I've already contacted eBay and started the process....when I saw that
(parcel box) I could not believe someone would do that....I'm sure the box
was complete before he shipped it... needless to say I wasn't to happy..
and your right about the value drop.... thanks for your advice m42duster...
 
well

at least you got part of the box. lol
mine came in a flat rate box. no radio box.
like i said just the cardboard. i should have filed a claim.
