Because he put a fan on the bottom cooling fins, so if you mount it upside down with the fan up, the buttons would be right side up.

I added a couple pics so you can see and understand how it's configured better. He put the buttons in upside down cause it's supposed to be mounted upside down.

Ebay has taken down my listing cause it violates they're terms of service due to the fact that they're illegal to sell in the US for the 11meter band. So if anyone is interested please let me know. It's in great condition and works as it should. I bought this about a year ago and it was only lightly used. Is has 8 gauge power wires.
