congtrats,i had my tech years ago n let em expire,20 years later was real easy to pass. had to do code not now.
id shoot for general but i know it means more radios n antennas n LOTTA MORE $$$$$$$$ . my wife made it very plain "HELL NO" if you do you be sleepin with the dog

I hope you have a rig that covers AT Least 10 meters 28.3-28.5...
This is a whole new world opened up now.
You'll find 10 meters works about the same as 11m...only not some much climbing on top of each other, and the 200 watts PEP is plenty to work the world.
Big PLUS the whole band is USB...no sharing with the carrier driver AM crowd!
Much less interference, much quieter in most cases. (no noise toys or roger beeps)
Then you add 6 meters and all above, at legal-limit.

This being the case, all goes well by this time next week you should have your call.
