I got this from a silent key.Wife said he used it every night he had a counter mounted on top the top is a little rough but could be saved. She lost the power cord and mic.I have no way to test this inside is dusty but all tubes are in the radio nothing looks burnt. Many many parts could be used from this radio or it might work fine have no idea.Asking $200.00 plus shipping will take to UPS store and have them box it and ship it will send shipping invoice separate from radio.Pay Pal only friends and family or Add 3%.USA only. This would make a great project radio or spare parts radio I have notice the parts have really went up in price.Email if interested jonindiana@hotmail.com

No offense but ups isnt qualified to properly prepare this radio for shipping. The tubes need to be removed, numbered and carefully packaged. The tubes should also be shipped separately from the radio. Shipping won't be cheap. What zip code is it being shipped from?

I'll confirm that the tube sockets in this radio do NOT have enough friction to hold the tubes in place while a package gets the typical handling in transit. They'll all or mostly pop out of the sockets and cause havoc. The radio has multiple tubes of the same type number. Swapping them around can degrade the radio's alignment. That's the reason to number them so the same tube goes back into the same socket. Having the same type number is not enough by itself.

Among the reasons I won't ship one of these. It was designed to ride gently in the belly of a Greyhound bus, not in the drop-kick maelstrom of the UPS or Fedex or USPS package networks of this century.

If it's really meant to be a parts radio, maybe it's not so big a deal. But if you ship a working D201 it may or may not still be a working radio when it reaches its destination.
