Uniden pc68elite question

Howdy. Mark here again. Got a question on a pc68 elite. I've looked and have come up empty handed. Does andone know what I need to do to tune up this radio? I've looked at cbtricks and defprom but no luck. Maybe some has a site they know of that has the info I'm looking for. But I'm not having luck with it. It's a buddies radio. And he just wants it tuned up. So if any one knows what I need to do that would be great. Thanks again. Mark

It is the same as the cobra 25.

 

[High Voltage Mobile NJ]

the 68 is alittle bit different. Remove D9 or turn VR5 all the way up.
Adjust L10. spread L8.


ps. if you want this radio to swing real high , Remove D10 and solder a jumper in its place. they only thing bad about this if you want to swing high like 40 to 5o watts peak , you will have to dead key around 6 watts. i keep mine around 4 .
i run this same setup on my 78 elite. very good mic by the way to.
