Welcome Don! There probably isn't a whole lot of stuff inside the mic. It should be fairly easy to swap the wires on the switch. Or maybe even flip the switch board over.Muscle memory is a thing.
What was Midland thinking?
I wonder if I can open and swap buttons?

LOL what I meant was swap the up/down buttons on the Midland XMT115 mic.
I’m not touching the President Bill mic, it’s perfect.

The mic is only wired with 3 wires. It has a mic element and 3 switches, so the transmit wire probably does all 3 switches. The radio can tell what button is pushed by the resistor in line with the button. I suppose that the resistors could be swapped. But I can hardly see them. Haha!If the plug end is able to be opened or accessed.. couldn't one just swap the wires at the plug if you know the mic wiring?
