Good Day All,
I was out with the local radio club on Saturday for the Lighthouse Weekend and took my new KX3 out for a play.
The antenna I used is a homebrew magloop (40-10m) made from LMR-400 coax. The design is a direct replica of the ALEXLOOP WALKHAM.
Anyway a fellow club member, GLEN, had a go on the setup and managed to work KD4AF on 5w with the internal batteries. We received a 5/1 report.
Here is a vid of the contact. (Unfortunatly the batteries in my camerea died before the end of the QSO.

Great little rig these KX3s! well worth the upgrade from my 703.
