I have ordered from many on Websites, but Wallcot CB gave me exceptional service.. fast, great confirmations and all the rest..plus My S-9 Magnum was tweaked and tuned to perfection on Bird Watt Meter and it matched on mine when I unpacked it.. If the other WebSites can get the Service right..they can make more sales and that equates to more money..just a thought..LOL but do they get it??? obviously not..just been living on good times..now times are tougher..let us see how they survive!! LOL I will order another Radio from Wallcot first.. they have the very BEST SERVICE.. N7JGN... Doug in Boise

Yeah..may be higher priced but good service and Quaility Tech.. PLUS FREE SHIPPING.. thumbup: I ordered from GI joe and same from Walcott and price was close because of Shipping Cost..plus way better service..is service worth anything to you? :)

Sparky sent my stuff right on time as he promised. Great deal - great work.
No problem...

A month ago I bought a new Galaxy DX 94HP from them and they had the LOWEST price of anybody.....that and the free shipping. Perfect, smooth transaction, so I would recommend them too.

Walcot CB prices are a little higher, but they have GREAT customer service!

Answered all my questions, even some questions relating to copper electronics!

I would buy from walcot CB, IMO the website is GREAT, like the rating feature, the website is FAR better than Copper's...no catalog tho.

Does anyone know if Walcot does good modifications, on many radios you can get it peaked and tuned. Any experiences with Walcot modifications, I looked on the website and I couldn't find anything, but I assume some of the "expansion" means I can get a export radio all set and go for CB?

Does anyone know if Walcot does good modifications...?

They are fine for basic AM alignments and converting from 10 to 11 meter, etc, but I certainly wouldnt use them for other mods or for technical troubleshooting, and I DEFINATELY wouldn't use them if you are a serious sidebander.

I have had a few SSB radios aligned there, and they are subpar to say the least. They have a rudimentary knowledge of RF and are more geared to the AM market.

Not into sideband? Then by all means, use Walcott CB. Huge selection and fast service. Is sidebend your thing? Then look elsewhere.

I agree with Six....I live close to there and if I need something in a pinch, Ill go grab it but I can usually get it cheaper elsewhere. They lost a decent tech a while back and as far as I know have not replaced him with anyone near his calibre

poor service

i have to admit i got a galaxy 93t from them and had them peak and tune it. then hooked it up and nothing worked right. took it back and they had burned up a pot while soldering during there peak and tune. radio still didnt work right took it back again and they asked me what moron worked on this radio and i told them that they were the only ones in it ever. guy turned red. well moral to the story is i took it to dx land in soux city and he spent 3 hrs fixing what they had screwed up and now it works great! seriously id never let them touch anything i own again. poor work. bad attatude. just really a poor cb shop. of course thats only my oppinion.
