Wanted:
A wounded Heathkit SB-200 for a project / learning experience.
I am looking for that SB-200 that you have shoved in a corner because it no longer works, it needs something, or you have moved on to something bigger. I am looking for a project amp to learn some basic tube amp construction practices on. Any condition will be considered, as I plan on rebuilding anyway. Ideally all parts should be there, but I know that may not be the case for a project. I only ask that at a minimum it should have a working transformer and a good meter, as I understand these are expensive to replace, if you can even find them. Either way... let me know what you have, and maybe we can work work something out.
