I have fallen victim to some of these calculators. However, the first one I used worked out near perfect. The main reason as to why I built it was to reject bad street light/power line noise coming up the rear when I would point to Europe. I had taken down my 4 element LFA for whatever reason and missed the front to back. Funnily enough, my first two contacts on a Moxon were in France. Of coarse I don't recall what I used, I assume it was MOXGEN.
So can you guys please tell me which MOXGEN version showed the best results? Was it the first one or the second version? And I'd be interested in your Moxon with the great front to back ratio HomerBB, which one did you use?
I'm beginning to think I used the early MOXGEN calculator because I don't recall downloading anything??
