Been licensed here for 30 yrs..started with CB.. If I meet a new Ham and tell them I still like CB they look at me like a Moron.. why is that.. they are small minded in my minded and I hate that.. Doug
Of course, anyone that points out foolishness must be.
quite honestly I would have to agree... And yea, I'm a Ham, but it has little to do with being snobby, over 35 years in radio has allowed me to see all kinds...
I used to go to Ham fests on a regular basis, met a lot of good people, met a lot of Retards. First you have the Morons who think they are better then you, both CB'ers, and Hams. Then there are the ones who will look down on you. They always seem to have a Reason, they don't like how you look, what you buy, who you associate with, ETC. The list goes on.
Your comments, and general attitude towards Hams definitely put you on my list. I will leave it up to you to decide where. Quite a number of your posts regularly have you whining about someone or something.
Not very productive at all.. and the door definitely swings both ways on this one. Truthfully I think your just a typical internet "Troll" and your about two mouse clicks away from having the distinction of being the first on my Forum ignore list.
I'm sure my post will have your ranting, but truthfully your posts are getting old :headbang
.... We now have "no code amateurs" (truly amateurs) blasting data streams across the spectrum. They don't even bother to ID most of the time...
Thirty years ago there was no where near as much annimosity between hams and CBer's. As CBer's moved outside the normal band and ran more and more power they developed a renegade reputation and were all painted with the same brush. That's pretty much the main reason things spiraled out of control between the two groups.
